85 Bakery
Overview
Role: UX/UI Designer
Tools: Figma, Illustrator
Deliverables: Research, Journey Mapping, Wireframes, Prototype

02/ OVERVIEW
85 Bakery is a UX case study focused on simplifying mobile ordering and improving customer engagem ent.
Through user research, journey mapping, wireframing, and prototyping, the project explored opportunities to reduce friction and create a more intuitive ordering experience.
03/ Problem
Bakery ordering often requires
customers to make too many decisions across disconnected touchpoints.
Customers want to browse products quickly, understand availability, customize orders, and complete checkout with minimal effort.
However, the existing experience creates friction through fragmented navigation, unclear ordering paths, and limited visibility into loyalty benefits and rewards.
04 / Process
From observed ordering friction to a clearer mobile-first flow.
01
Research
Reviewed ordering behaviors, loyalty expectations, and common mobile checkout interruptions.
02
Journey Mapping
Mapped the customer journey to identify pain points, decision moments, and drop-off opportunities.
03
Wireframes
Explored layouts for navigation, browsing, cart review, and checkout flow.
04
Prototype
Built an interactive mobile prototype to validate usability and streamline the experience.
Research
Understanding customer behavior before redesigning the experience.
Before exploring design solutions, I analyzed the existing ordering experience to identify user expectations, pain points, and opportunities for a more intuitive mobile journey.
01
User Goals
Browse products quickly
Customize orders easily
Complete checkout with confidence
02
Pain Points
Too many decisions before checkout
Rewards were difficult to discover
Navigation created unnecessary friction
03
Opportunities
Simplify the ordering flow
Improve visual hierarchy
Make rewards easier to access

05/ User Flow
07 / Reflection

07 / Reflection
The strongest lesson wasn't adding more features- it was making the right decisions visible at the right moment
This project reinforced that effective service UX is built on clear information hierarchy, intuitive navigation,
and thoughtful decision-making. By redesigning the ordering, pickup, and loyalty experience as one connected journey, I reduced decision fatigue and created a more seamless experience from discovery to checkout.
